Since we are a little more than halfway through the year, lets take it back to a spectacular New Years party. This boat sure did serve as the perfect spot to host a rocking New years company party. The guest enjoyed all the tunes the DJ was spinning as well as some awesome food and a few smooches to bring in the new year.

This is day two of the three day wedding of Sid and Jeannie.
Michael and Rosario Santa Cruz came back to us to have their pregnancy portraits taken. We captured their wedding images in 2010 and built a very meaningful relationship. They loved how we captured their engagement photos and wedding images and so they honored us with the opportunity to capture these pregnancy portrait images.
We had such a great time with Eric and Francesca and it's all because Francesca is such a fun girl. She's full of life and made the session we had with Eric and her so much fun. Their weddings in the Sky Room a eclectic venue located high atop the 90 years old luxury retire home over looking the shoreline. We are so excited to share these images captured by our photographers Allen and Josh. This lake side park which featured tons of wild geese and ducks who can be a bit testy if you're in the geese path. So Francesca as you'll see chased them off so we wouldn't be nipped in the butt by one of those geese beaks.
This is the first day of a three day wedding for Sid and Jeannine. Day one was a traditional Cambodian wedding held in Long Beach, California the images we captured shows the wonderful vibrant colors and traditional garments worn for this event. Jeannine is a stunning beauty and she sparkles in all her traditional Cambodian wedding attire. Between Sid and Jeannine there were over 11 outfit changes during tis 11 hour event. Enjoy these beautiful images captured by Michelle and Michael.
Down the street from our offices is a venue that our photographers love photographing. The Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden. We admit it we are spoiled having such a beautiful venue only blocks from our offices makes it very convenient for us. We've captured loads of events there and Katrina and Andrews wedding was one of them. Enjoy!
Tzlill and Tad came to us for some engagement photos with their two babies. The day we went out it was almost 100 in the shade. These poor pups were miserable, not to mention the rest of us. But we did our best and had a great time capturing these images for these beautiful people. Tzlill came to America a few years ago from Israel never imaging that she would find her one true love in Tadd. We are very excited about capturing their wedding in November.
Kory and Autumn are from two different worlds, Kory is a captain in the Army and is based in Colorado, Autumn is a Sheriff based in Arizona. Thanks to an on line match making site they were brought together. Their wedding is going to be held in Autumns home town of Portland Oregon in October and we are looking forward to capturing their wedding love story. Here's some highlights of their engagement photos we captured down at the shoreline in Long Beach. They flew in to have some photos taken at the shoreline because they saw some of our work we posted from a previous session and they loved the results. Note that while we were photographing them we came upon a pelican that was wrapped in fishing line and couldn't move. Kory and Autumn freed the bird to fly again.
Elise and Andy flew in from Boston to get married in So Cal. Fortunately for us they wanted to have some engagement photos taken. We are thrilled to share these images we captured just hours before they went to the court house to get married. Andy wanted to have us feature his car in the shots which he said was his second love.
It was our great pleasure to be asked to photograph one of our favorite event planners Monica Chambers of Monica Nicole Events. She and Doug are getting married at the fabulous Bel Air Country Club in Malibu, California in August. The couple was so fun and relaxed and we captured images that they were thrilled with. Here's a sampling of the depth of their love and how we captured their engagement photographs.
You would have thought that having a wedding in the mountains late afternoon is a bad idea. Especially if its an all outdoor affair. But we are in Southern California and fortunately for Myles and Lainey they couldn't have had better weather. It was close to 80 when we began our photographing around 3 pm. To be honest we could have used about another hour of daylight. None the less the photos turned out great and other than a few challenges with lighting everything was flawless. The wedding was held at the grooms families private estate with two adjoining estates owned by the grooms uncles. It was "amazing".
Sometimes we meet couples that are just plain awesome and a delight to work with, and Ronit and Mario (or batman) as are just that type of couple. The wedding was held at a fabulous venue called Rancho de las Palmas (ranch of the palms) this privately run venue is perfect for small to medium sized weddings from 50 to 200 guests. It features a scenic private lake, wonderful reception site with a tent like covered area, and a wonderful ceremony area that is secluded and very picturesque. We had a wonderful and literally hilarious time creating and capturing their wedding photographs, and the day slipped by so quickly. Ronit was beaming and Mario was dashing in his custom suit he compiled by visiting a variety of clothiers to assemble his ensemble. Ronit wore a wedding dress by a top designer, and her shoes with the peacock feather was gorgeous. Mario's nickname is batman and he wore batman cuff links and to complete his ensemble a superman shirt was hidden under his formal attire.See him rescuing Ronit in the images below. This was such a wonderful experience for us as they celebrated a combined Jewish and Christian wedding ceremony.
